Velo 5G: 5G on your iPhone, one click
Turn on the 5G option for your SIM cards from a Mac, check the result and undo it any time. Tested with MTS, Beeline and MegaFon.
Velo 5G is a small Mac app that switches on the 5G option for the SIM cards in your iPhone. Connect the phone, press one button, and the app takes care of the rest. Everything it changes can be undone in one click.
How it works
- Connect your iPhone to a Mac with a cable, unlock it and tap Trust.
- Press Turn on 5G. The app saves a copy of your current settings first, applies the change to every supported SIM and reads the result back.
- Toggle airplane mode for 15 seconds, then check the internet. The 5G icon appears where your operator has coverage.

Requirements
- A Mac with macOS 13 or later.
- An iPhone 12 or newer with iOS 14 or later.
Good to know
The app is not signed with an Apple Developer ID yet, so macOS asks you to confirm the first launch. The step-by-step guide shows exactly where to click. The 5G icon depends on your operator and coverage in your location.
